I had the great honor of visiting Albert this past weekend, after the decision was handed down from the Fifth Circuit to uphold Judge Brady’s Decision. Albert asked that I publicly thank the people, all the people for all the contributions they have made knowingly or unknowingly to this decision and to his freedom campaign. He strongly stated that this fight is not over, that it has become more critical the closer he gets to the gates and he asks that we all stay informed and ready to petition the State to release him. Currently he is being held at David Wade Correctional Facility as an innocent man. We have a ways to go until he comes home, and the State of Louisiana under the direction of Attorney General Buddy Caldwell is spending millions of dollars in tax payer money to continue to appeal his freedom. Buddy Caldwell has stated that “this is a personal vendetta” and he will do everything in his power to keep Albert in prison. We need to collectively tell him that enough is enough!
We are gearing up for a campaign to petition the State of Louisiana to stop the senseless prosecution of an innocent man who has spent far too long in prison. Please email us with ideas for non-violent, creative direct actions or other resistance ideas.
All Power to the People.
